Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs
Saurabh Lall leads the research initiative of the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs, a policy program of the Aspen Institute. Saurabh conducts research on entrepreneurship and economic development, and the most effective ways to support small businesses. In this role, he coordinates ANDE’s efforts to drive collaboration between academics and practitioners to address critical questions on support for entrepreneurs. He has co-authored studies on entrepreneurial incubators and accelerators, and entrepreneurial ecosystems. Saurabh previously worked at the World Resources Institute, where he conducted extensive field research on environmental entrepreneurship. Originally from Mumbai, he has also worked on rural water and sanitation issues in several states across India. Saurabh has a PhD in Public Policy and Administration from George Washington University, focusing on evaluation and performance measurement, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Mumbai.
