We stand on the cusp of fourth Industrial Revolution that will fundamentally alter the way we live, work, and relate to one another. In its scale, scope, and complexity, the transformation will be unlike anything humankind has experienced before, as stated by Schwab. Today, advances in technologies fueled by cloud computing, AI, Big Data offer tremendous potential for new innovations, efficiencies, and cost savings for governments, businesses, and individuals alike, but we need to recognize that the rapid pace of change also creates complexity and even challenges for some individuals, businesses and communities. Thus, the panel will discuss the benefits of the new technology and the policy enabling environment for countries to fully leverage the cloud.
