Aside from funding from friends, family, and founders, angel investing is the primary source of financing for innovative early stage businesses in many countries across the globe. GBAN was founded in 2015 to improve international connections between the entrepreneurship ecosystem with the investor world and raise awareness about this source of funding in countries with nascent venture capital ecosystems.
