The interest and understanding of the contribution made by women entrepreneurs has grown, resulting in a corresponding rise in research, dialogue and support being provided globally.  However, the gaps in access to both capital and markets between male and female entrepreneurs are still wide, and new approaches need to be found by legislators, public and private institutions, and entrepreneurs themselves to bridge these divides.  This session will explore the subtle and not-so-subtle ways in which women entrepreneurs are denied access to markets, and innovative approaches they have found to overcoming these.
